Pre-Conference Workshop: Argos on the Road

We’re thrilled to partner with Evisions to bring Argos on the Road to ALBUG! This full-day, hands-on workshop is designed for Argos users of all experience levels. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to take your reporting to the next level, this interactive training will have something for you.
Important:
This is a hands-on workshop — participants will need to bring a Windows laptop to fully engage with the Argos exercises and activities. Space is limited to 20 attendees per track. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
When registering, you will be required to select a track. This will be the track you attend for the duration of the workshop.
Due to limited seating and space constraints, we cannot guarantee the ability to switch tracks onsite.
Please choose carefully during registration.
Led by Evisions experts, attendees will dive into real-world projects, explore advanced Argos features, and build practical skills they can apply right away. You’ll also have plenty of time for discussion, Q&A, and networking with peers.
Workshop Agenda – Choose Your Track
🚗 Starting Point
Kick off your Argos journey by building a dynamic dashboard, writing SQL queries, and creating multiple report types. You’ll also get hands-on with Argos X, exploring advanced search, embedding, and seamless email sharing.
🌄 Scenic Route
Focus on data visualizations with graphs, charts, and OLAP cubes. Learn to slice and analyze data to support decision-making and tell compelling data stories.
🏁 Destination
Take it further with dynamic forms, pop-ups, and custom applications using Rapid Application Development. You’ll explore data validation, advanced form design, scheduling, and working with multiple data sources.

Hotel Room Block Guidelines
A limited number of hotel rooms are available in the ALBUG room block. To ensure fair access for all attendees:
- Please only reserve a room in the ALBUG block if you plan to attend the conference.
- If your plans change and you are no longer able to attend, promptly cancel your hotel reservation so the room can be made available to others.
- Hotel reservations in the ALBUG room block may be canceled if the guest is not registered for the conference by Friday, October 17th.
- Last day to reserve a room in the ALBUG room block is Friday, October 24th.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations can be requested by sending an email to [email protected] by October 25, 2025. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged. No refunds will be processed after October 25, 2025. By choosing pay by check or the invoice option, you are still responsible for the total cost of registration if you do not cancel by the deadline. Conference expenses are based on the number of registrants. Please confirm permission and availability to travel prior to registering.
Membership Dues
Institutional membership dues should be paid at the time of conference registration and are in addition to the conference fee. Membership dues are valid for one year. Visit our membership page for more information.
Discount for Presenters
We appreciate all the great session content that is presented by members of fellow institutions! As a thank you for being a lead presenter in an ALBUG 2024 Conference session, we will extend a $175 discount in conference registration fees. Presenters will be notified by July 31 of session acceptance and will be given a separate registration link.
